Today, temperatures will have a hard time reach into the 50s.  A cold front that passed through the region yesterday allowed for cold air to follow in behind it.  We will still see fast wind speeds at least until early afternoon, so wind chill should be a factor today.  Overnight temperatures drop well below freezing to ring in the New Year.  High pressure takes on Saturday, giving us mostly sunny skies but temperatures remain chillly.  As we look toward the begiining of next week, temperatures will gradually be on the rise.
