Balmorhea Man Killed In Crash Near Pecos

PECOS -- A Balmorhea man is dead after a weekend accident outside of Pecos.

    According to reports, 51-year-old Gerald Lewis was killed just before 2 PM on Friday. The crash happened about 10 miles west of Pecos on Interstate 20.
   
    Lewis was driving east on the interstate when he went off the road, overcorrected and lost control of the vehicle, resulting in the fatal crash. D.P.S. says Lewis was not wearing a seat belt.
