MIDLAND-- A house was partially destroyed by a fire in Midland Tuesday.

The blaze happened at 2808 Roosevelt just after 8:00 AM Tuesday. A third of the house was destroyed by the blaze. Fire officials say the blaze looked like it started outside the home and worked its way in. All three people in the home got out safe. One went to the hospital with unrelated injuries.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
