ODESSA -- A suspect in last week's murder at an Odessa motel is behind bars in Ector County.

Christopher Redic was transferred to the Ector County Detention Center from Temple Tuesday night. Police say Redic, 23, shot 35-year-old Freddie Hall III at the Odessa Motor Inn on December 28th. Hall was found dead that morning in the parking lot, having been shot in the chest. Witnesses at the scene said Hall and another man had gotten into an argument, and that they heard a gunshot.

Redic was arrested by U.S. Marshals and Texas Rangers on December 29th in Temple. Redic now faces first-degree murder charges.
