ODESSA -- A man accused of kidnapping and assaulting a 9-year old girl three years ago will stand trial next week under different charges.

Dwayne Dale Billings, 25, now faces three counts of aggravated sexual assault and one count of aggravated kidnapping for his alleged role in the January 2007 incident. A 9-year-old autistic girl was reported missing on January 3rd, 2007 and was found almost 12 hours later. Police arrested Billings the same day that the child was found. Police claimed that Billings kidnapped the girl and had sex with her.

Billings faces up to life in prison if convicted.
