MIDLAND -- The parents of a three-month-old baby have been arrested, after police say they waited too long to take the injured infant to the hospital.

Juana Fierro and Martin Grado were arrested Friday morning. Police say that Fierro and Grado brought their infant daughter to Midland Memorial's West campus in October. The infant had a fractured femur, but police say the leg had clearly been broken for at least two days, possibly more.

Now, the child has been placed in another home by Child Protective Services while Fierro face charges of endangering a child.
