MIDLAND -- An arctic front has arrived in the Permian Basin, and as Big 2 Chief Forecaster Horace Brown has been saying, temperatures are expected to plummet.

With the wind chill factored in, the Permian Basin could see single digit temperatures. And, there's no warm up expected for days either, with highs Tuesday and Wednesday staying low.

Make sure to take care of pipes, pets, and plants during this cold snap. Also, check in with any elderly people that you think may need help.
