First Sales Tax Revenue In 2011 Released To Midland And Odessa

Local governments will get $483 million in the first sales tax allocation of 2011. Odessa received almost $1,935,111 from that allocation, while Midland got $2,197,436.
The sales tax revenue was $1.8 billion in Texas in December 2010. Those holiday season figures were up 9.4 percent from December 2009.
