Winkler County Memorial Hospital Statement On Arafiles Indictment

By: Winkler County Memorial Hospital
Updated: January 14, 2011
KERMIT -- The management of Winkler County Memorial Hospital would like to let our community know we are fully aware of the charges that have been brought against Dr. Rolando Arafiles by the Texas State Attorney General’s office.

Although the charges do not affect the current daily operations of the hospital or the quality of healthcare we deliver to our patients we are watching the progress of this situation. As medical professionals of Winkler County’s hospital and clinic it is our top priority to be sure we continue delivering high quality healthcare services to our patients and community without interruption or distraction. We are responsible for the health and well being of our patients and this community and we take that very seriously.

We will continue to monitor this situation closely and respond appropriately to assure the community that any activities taking place in Dr. Arafiles personal life do not affect in an adverse manner the medical care and services we provide.
