ODESSA -- The Texas Rangers are investigating an Odessa elementary school.

Barbara Jordan Elementary is under investigation, with the Rangers looking at a discrepancy in the school's activity fund. E.C.I.S.D.'s auditor recommended that an outside agency look at the matter, and district officials recommended calling in the Texas Rangers.

Big 2 has called the school and E.C.I.S.D. spokesman Mike Adkins, but no one has been available to comment on the specifics of the investigation so far. Adkins did say in a statement that no one has resigned because of the investigation.

Big 2 will bring you more information on this story as it becomes available.
