West Odessa Man Sentenced For Cocaine Possession

MIDLAND -- A West Odessa man will spend three years in federal prison after he was busted with more than a pound of cocaine.

    Adolpho Escarcega-Lopez got that sentence after pleading guilty in October to possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute. Escarcega-Lopez was arrested in August after leading Ector County Sheriff's deputies on a chase after they tried to stop his motorcycle.

    When the deputies caught Escarcega-Lopez, they found more that a pound of cocaine on him. He had faced up to 20 years behind bars.
