MIDLAND -- January is Crimestoppers Month and Midland's program has been recognized as one of the best in Texas.

The Midland program won the "Texas Best Award" for most cases cleared for a city our size. Since Crimestoppers came to Midland, authorities have made almost 6,700 arrests, cleared more than 9,000 cases, recovered close to $8,000,000 in stolen property and narcotics, and they've also given out over $400,000 in rewards.

If you have any information that could help authorities solve a crime, call 432-694-TIPS (8477).
