ODESSA -- Friday was Day 4 in the trial of Dwayne Dale Billings in Ector County.

Billings, 26, is accused of kidnapping and sexually assaulting a 9 year-old autistic girl in January 2007. He took the stand Friday morning and revealed more disturbing information about his background.

Billings said he was molested at state schools. He also said he didn't have any friends because of how he acted and his speech impediment. And he said that he didn't always know what was going on.

Billings said he was arrested when he returned home from state school for failing to register as a sex offender. Then, he said he was sent to the Big Spring State Hospital.

As for the incident he's accused of, Billings said that the victim ran up to him while he was riding his bike and followed him. While Billings admitted to taking her home with him, he denied most of the prosecution's story and said he lied during a police interview.

Billings also changed some of his story as he was cross examined, claiming that he didn't remember his testimony from 45 minutes earlier. Billings also admitted that his grandfather might have also touched the girl.

The trial will continue on Tuesday, and Big 2 will continue to bring you the latest.
