Advocate Group KlaasKids Arrives in Colorado City

COLORADO CITY -- Tuesday Morning Update:

Brad Dennis, the Director of Search Operations for KlaasKids Foundation’s National Search Center for Missing Children, tells bigcountryhomepage.com he has arrived in Colorado City.

Dennis says he'll be meeting with law enforcement throughout the day as well as Hailey's mother, Billie Dunn.

Dennis says he hopes to formulate a plan for how his group can assist in the search by the end of the day.

At this point, Dennis is the only KlaasKids representative in town. He says additional people from the group will fly as early as tonight, if needed.

Monday Story:

Representatives from one of the most recognized advocate groups for missing children are on their way to Colorado City to assist in the search for missing 13-year-old Hailey Dunn.

Brad Dennis, the Director of Search Operations for KlaasKids Foundation’s National Search Center for Missing Children, says he'll meet with Hailey's mother, Billie Dunn, to help determine how his group can be help find Hailey.

The KlaasKids Foundation was established in 1994 in an effort to help protect children. The group's founder, Marc Klaas, is the father of murder victim Polly Hannah Klaas. He's regularly appears on the Nancy Grace show to discuss Hailey's case.

Dennis tells KTAB News a decision on how his group will assist will likely be made Tuesday. He says they'll probably help manage the volunteer search efforts.

Dennis has over twenty years of experience in search and rescue and disaster response, according to klaaskids.org. He has managed search efforts for over 60 missing/abducted children around the country.

Texas Equusearch, who originally told KTAB News they expected to be involved in the search, has not returned phone calls for nearly a week.

Officials now say the information that leads to Hailey's safe return is $15,000.
