Barbara Jordan Elementary Principal On Adminstrative Leave

ODESSA -- The Texas Rangers are investigating an an E.C.I.S.D. elementary school. Now that school's principal has been placed on administrative leave.
Barbara Jordan Elementary Principal Jan Brown was placed on paid leave Friday, while the Rangers continue to investigate a discrepancy in the school's activity fund. An internal auditor found an issue with the activity fund in early December, and they recommended that an outside agency investigate it. E.C.I.S.D. responded by calling in December 3rd.
E.C.I.S.D Communications Director Mike Adkins stresses that the investigation is still open, but that the Rangers are working to wrap it up.
