KERMIT -- Three of four people who were indicted in Kermit last week turned themselves in to authorities Tuesday.

Winkler County Sheriff Robert Roberts, County Attorney Scott Tidwell, and Dr. Rolando Arafiles were all arrested Tuesday morning. All three quickly bonded out. Stan Wiley will turn himself in tomorrow.

All four are charged with retaliation, while Tidwell, Roberts, and Arafiles are also charged with of misuse of official information after a 2009 incident at Winkler County Hospital ended with the firing of two nurses. Those nurses had filed a complaint against Dr. Arafiles, but ended up charged with misuse of public information.

The charges against the nurses were dropped, but now Roberts, Tidwell, Arafiles and Wiley will face their charges related to the incident.
