Better Economy Means More Traffic, Home Sales

A new study from the Texas Transportation Institute at Texas A&M says things are getting more snarled, especially in cities like Dallas and Houston. West Texas is also seeing an increase in traffic, especially around the Gardendale area. That area has seen more oil drilling recently, which is another good sign for the economy.
Meanwhile, existing home sales across the country are rising. The National Association of Realtors has said that in December, transaction for homes, townhomes, and condos rose more than 12 percent. The sharp increase indicates that fewer homes are on the market, and prices are heading up.
