Starbucks Expands Mobile Payment System

SEATTLE, WA --  Starbucks has rolled out an app that lets you pay with an iPhone, iPod Touch or Blackberry.

The Starbucks Card Mobile app is a digital version of the prepaid cards that people already use nationwide.

Company Vice President Brady Brewer says your wallet or purse isn't always with you, but your mobile phone is.

Brewer calls the app a more convenient way to pay.  You still have to fund the app with your credit card.

But when you get to a Starbucks, you hit the pay button, scan the bar code and you're done.

Starbucks says it's working on an Android app.
