Deborah Morton pleaded guilty Wednesday morning. Morton, 56, and three others were arrested in Lubbock last October after they were indicted by the El Paso division of the Drug Enforcement Agency. The agency says the former Midland High debate teacher gave out Hydrocodone, Oxycodone and marijuana within a 1000 feet of Alamo Junior High between September 2007 and October 2010.
Now, Morton faces up to 20 years in prison, along with three years supervised release. She could also be fined up to $1 million.
