Stray Bullet Tears Through Home In Midland

MIDLAND -- A stray bullet from a high powered rifle tore through a home in the Tall City Thursday night.

    The incident happened at a home in the Meadowpark subdivision on A Street near Loop 250 Thursday night. Big 2 has learned that a bullet from a 223 caliber rifle went through several fences and a window in a subdivision. Once inside the home, the bullet hit a wall in a bedroom.

    Midland Police Deputy Jeff Darr tells Big 2 that the shooting is believed to be a lone incident, and no one was hurt. A police report has been filed and an investigation is ongoing.

    No suspect has been named in the incident.
