Martin County--54-year-old Lonny martin was shot and killed on Saturday afternoon after refusing to stop when deputies tried to pull him over. Now big 2 is learning more about the man who has been running from the law.

Authorities say Martin had guns placed all over his home, some were even pointed towards windows.  Authorities were keeping a close eye on Martin after an incident involving his family - who wanted him out of the house.

After days of refusing to leave, Martin got in his car and left Saturday afternoon. When deputies tried to pull him over, Martin refused. Then after a short chase, the pursuit ended on highway 176 - when authorities fired shots at his car, forcing it off the road.

One of those bullets hit Martin, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.None of the officers involved were injured. Since this shooting is now under investigation, authorities say they won't be releasing the names of the other officers involved just yet. Big 2 will keep you updated with the very latest.
