MIDLAND -- A Midland man is behind bars, accused of assaulting his daughter and locking her out of the house while she was naked.

James Turner was arrested early Saturday morning after police were called to a home on Delano. They found Turner's 21-year-old daughter hiding in the backyard naked.

According to an arrest affidavit, the victim said that Turner had assaulted her and locked her out of the house naked. Turner was allegedly upset that his daughter was "dating a black man."

Police say Turner was very drunk and holding an infant when they approached him. He was arrested and charged with felony assault of a family member.
