Accused Fort Hood Shooter Ruled Sane

FORT HOOD -- The man accused of going on a killing spree at Fort Hood will stand trial.

    A military panel has ruled that Major Nidal Hasan is sane, and fit to stand trial for the massacre.The 40-year-old army psychiatrist faces multiple charges of premeditated murder and premeditated attempted murder for the 2009 shooting spree. The attack killed 13 people, and several more were hurt.

    Hasan's attorney says he will most likely face the death penalty if convicted.
