Jorge Orozco Levya was sentenced to 111 months behind bars Tuesday morning. Ector County Sheriff's deputies arrested Levya, 26, on July 6th after they found more than 70 bricks of marijuana, almost $9,000 and a .45 caliber handgun in his apartment on South Lodgepole in Odessa. The drugs weighed more than 90 pounds.
Levya pleaded guilty in November to the charges. But he was also on probation, and he had that sentence revoked. This means that he will have to serve an extra six months behind bars, bringing his total prison time to 117 months.
Levya got that probation in October 2009 for illegally entering the United States.
