Gardenhires Sentenced To More Than 3 Years In Prison

ODESSA -- Two Odessa brothers will each spend more than 3 years in federal prison for mail fraud.

    Gary and Jerrod Gardenhire were sentenced Tuesday for 6 counts of conspiracy to commit mail fraud. The charges centered around a scheme that stole more than $2 million from the Hose Connection to fund the Penwell Knights Raceway. The Gardenhires worked at the Hose Connection

    Gary Gardenhire was sentenced to 57 months behind bars, while Jerrod Gardenhire got 46 months.The two will also have to pay $2.44 million dollars in restitution and another $2 million in fines to the U.S. government for the crime.

    Two other men were convicted in the scheme. They've already been sentenced.
