Cold Weather Safety Tips

For starters, don't use heating torches or open flames to try and thaw pipes, since this can set your house on fire. Also, only use wood in fireplaces. Don't use paper or other items that could light too quickly.
Keep space heaters away from things that can catch fire, such as curtains or furniture. And ever use a stove or generator inside your home to heat it -- this can build up carbon monoxide, and turn deadly.
