MIDLAND -- Chances are you were one of the record setting fans to watch the Super Bowl either at home, at a friend's house, or at a sports bar. Roughly 110 million people watched this years big game.

So, you probably saw Christina Aguilera belt out "most" of the national anthem, the Black Eyed Peas perform the halftime show to mixed reviews, Cameron Diaz stuff a handfull of popcorn in Alex Rodriguez's mouth or like many, watched just for the commercials.

For a 30 second spot during the game, advertisers had to shell out $3 million.

Doritos commercials had plenty of fans. But the favorite among most viewers was a Volkswagen ad that had a little kid dressed like Darth Vader trying to use jedi powers.

Snickers also rolled out a new commercial after last years version starring Betty White and Abe Vigoda was a huge hit. This year's starred Richard Lewis and Roseanne Barr.

Then, there's the food. Nearly $700 million of snacks were purchased. Up 6% from last year.

The Super Bowl king of snacks, is the potato chip. 46 million pounds of the crisp snack was purchased for the Super Bowl which totals out to almost $185 million. That's a lot of potato!
