Midland City Council Tables Decisions On Water, Blue Ridge

MIDLAND -- Midland City Council members did not come to any decisions after discussing some controversial issues in their meeting Tuesday.
The council considered a resolution to start a water conservation program. The idea that came from the Colorado River Municipal Water District, as the district calls for less water usage.
But the council didn't make any decisions on that resolution or a plan to change the zoning classification for the Blue Ridge Apartments. Those new apartments are embroiled in controversy since some units overlook backyards on Caldera Boulevard.
The complex's developer has proposed building carports and putting evergreen trees up behind the building to block the view. But the council is still discussing the plan.
