The Odessa Police Department's Animal Control shelter was partially shut down last week after a broken valve shut off the building's water supply. Roughly 50 animals remained at the shelter, but attendants had to bring them water from the recycling plant.
Odessa Police say the valve has been replaced, and residents can now drop off or adopt animals at the shelter again.
