ODESSA -- A chain-reaction crash sent three people to the hospital Tuesday.

The crash happened on TX 191 between the Billy Hext and Faudree Road exits around 3 PM Tuesday. A Ford Ranger was heading east on TX 191 when it lost control, swerved and bounced off the guardrail. As that driver was trying to get the vehicle off the road, all traffic had to merge into the other lane.

Meanwhile, a Dodge pickup was heading too fast in the lane traffic was merging into, and the driver rear-ended a Dodge Nitro which then went airborne and flipped onto a Nissan.

At least three people were taken to Medical Center Hospital with minor injuries. The drivers of the Ford Ranger and the Dodge pickup also got tickets.
