ODESSA -- An Odessa Walmart was evacuated after the store received a bomb threat, but no bomb was found in the store.

This incident happened around 3 PM Thursday at the Walmart on 4210 J.B.S. Parkway. An unidentified man called the store just after 1:15 PM and said he would "blow up" the Walmart. Odessa Police say that Walmart made the decision to evacuate the store around 3 PM. O.P.D. were on the scene for several hours investigating.

As of 6:05 PM, Odessa Police had finished their search of the store. They did not find any explosive device and store associates were let back into the store. No customers were let in at that time, however.

Odessa Police say they will continue to investigate who made the threat.
