ODESSA -- Odessa Police are looking for a man who they say stole a car, crashed it and fled the scene.

The incident happened around 10:00 PM Thursday at Cassia Road and Dawn Avenue. Police say the owner of a yellow Pontiac GTO saw a man steal his car. That man allegedly got into a rollover crash in the vehicle and then took off running from the scene.

Police used a K-9 unit to help them comb the area, but they still could not find the suspect.

Police say the suspect is a white male with black hair. He's 5'9" and 170 pounds. Anyone with information on this suspect should call the Odessa Police Department at 432-333-3641.
