Midland Man Arrested For Pointing Gun At Woman In Home

MIDLAND -- A Midland man is facing serious charges after he allegedly pointing a gun at a woman in their home.
Jose Rangel was arrested Sunday afternoon. An arrest affidavit states that Rangel, 56, arrived at his home on Spruce on Sunday and pointed a silver handgun at Caroline Rangel, who also lives at the home.
When the victim called police, the suspect reportedly walked outside, handed a neighbor the gun and took off on his motorcycle. Midland Police located and arrested Rangel a short time later.
Rangel is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
