AUSTIN -- Texas is facing some serious wildfire danger this weekend -- and the state is ready for it.

There is still a disaster proclamation in place for all Texas counties because of the dry conditions. With fierce winds expected this weekend, fire resources are being moved from local fire departments to different areas where they can be on standby. Some of these areas include Midland, Lubbock and Brownwood.

There are also 4 Black Hawk helicopters on standby to attack fires from the air if needed.
