MIDLAND -- A 5 year old girl is dead after an 8 car pule up on Interstate 20 in Midland.

Department of Public Safety troopers tell Big 2 that because of all the dust in the air, its been almost impossible for drivers to see where they're going Sunday. Earlier in the day, the visibility on Interstate 20 was zero.

D.P.S. troopers say at around 2:30 Sunday afternoon a truck pulling a trailer hit a Corvette, causing a chain reaction. One of the vehicles was a Chevy and it caught on fire.

The driver of the car -- 30 year old Juan Dominguez -- and his passenger -- 9 year old Elijah Arp -- got out safely. But the other passenger -- 5 year old, Cameron Dominguez -- didn't make it.

The driver of the Corvette -- 58 year old Luis Dominguez -- was sent to Midland Memorial Hospital. His injuries are unknown at this time. Troopers tell us they are still investigating.
