Escapee, Accused Sex Offender Caught In Ward County

WARD COUNTY -- An accused escaped sex offender has been captured in Ward County.

    King Samuel Williams was being transferred from a prison in Tucson, AZ to a prison in Harrisburg, PA when he escaped from the transfer van while it was at a rest stop on Interstate 20 near Pyote on Saturday.

    The Ward County Sheriff's Office tells Big 2 that Williams was caught Tuesday morning near Coyanosa.
   
    Williams had been arrested for sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl in Pennsylvania.
