ODESSA -- The clock is ticking for anyone who has an outstanding warrant.

Odessa defendants have until Saturday morning to head down to the Municipal Court to get their case settled if they want to avoid an arrest. Anyone who doesn't get it taken care of can expect a knock on their door this weekend during the Great Texas Warrant Round-Up.

Odessa Police officers will hit the streets beginning Saturday to hunt down anyone with an outstanding warrant. Police say the time and place doesn't matter. If suspects at home, at work or out in the public, they will be handcuffed and taken to jail.

Odessa defendants need to get warrants taken care of before Saturday. By doing so, the city will also waive the $50 warrant fee.

Along with paying in person, you can also pay online or over the phone. If you have any questions, call the Odessa Municipal Court at (432) 335-3300.
