MARTIN COUNTY -- A Martin County wildfire that crews were battling Tuesday re-ignited Wednesday morning.

The fire burned 200 acres Wednesday, after about 400 acres were scorched Tuesday afternoon.

Local fire crews called in the Texas Forest Service around 10:45 PM. Fire crews used a plane to attack the fire from the air, which put the flames out.

Firefighters said that a drilling rig was threatened at one point, but no homes were in the fires path and no one was hurt.
