Odessa Grass Fire Burns 20 Acres

ODESSA -- Odessa firefighters were dealing with a grass fire Thursday.
The blaze broke out at the Samson Corporation near U.S. 385 and Interstate 20. Firefighters say that workers were grinding metal there, and the sparks ignited some grass.
Before the blaze was over, 20 acres burned, and one piece of property was damaged.
