Big Spring Man Hospitalized After Hatchet Attack

BIG SPRING -- A Big Spring man was injured in a hatchet attack Sunday.

    The incident happened Sunday night in Big Spring. Joe Rios Jr. allegedly got into an argument with Calvin Jacob Lawson at his daughter's home. Lawson allegedly struck Rios in the back of the head with a hatchet.

    Rios was rushed to Scenic Mountain Medical Center and later flown to Lubbock for his injuries.

    Big Spring Police want to talk to Lawson, but he hasn't turned himself in yet.
