WEST ODESSA -- An accident in West Odessa sent two people to the hospital Friday.

The crash happened around 1 PM Friday at F.M. 1936 and university. Troopers tell Big 2 that a Pontiac was heading north on F.M. 1936 and a G.M.C. Jimmy was heading west on University when one of the vehicles ran a red light and the two collided.

There were two people in the Jimmy, and both were taken to the hospital. The driver of the Pontiac was not hurt.

Troopers say they're still working to determine who ran the red light. Because of this, citations are pending.
