Marisa Yvette Sauceda was arrested Thursday afternoon. According to an arrest affidavit, Sauceda, 21, threatened to take her child from Child Protective Services custody while at the C.P.S. office on west Wall around 1:30 PM Thursday. When officials put Sauceda in an office to calm down, she threatened to follow one of the employees home and kill her.
Authorities tried to get the child back from Sauceda, but she attacked two of them before violently resisting arrest. Sauceda was eventually arrested but refused to give her name when she was booked at the Midland County Detention Center.
Now, Sauceda's charged with two counts of assault on a peace officer, retaliation, resisting arrest and failure to identify. She's being held on $13,000 bond.
