With incredibly dry conditions, it shouldn't come as a major surprise. Both Midland and Ector County chose to extend their current burn bans for another 90 days on Monday.

They cited the dry spell, and extreme wildfire danger that we've seen in recent weeks.

This means that people must follow the law when it comes to outdoor burning or face fines.

Most West Texas Counties are currently under a burn ban, with the exception of Glasscock, Loving, and Culberson.
