MIDLAND -- Two Midlanders are facing charges after they allegedly misled police during a traffic stop.

Steve Henry, 48, and George Albert Hall, 42, were arrested on Saturday morning, after police pulled over the vehicle they were in on West Wall Street for a traffic violation. Hall didn't have a photo I.D. on him, and he told officers his name was Terry Johnson. Henry also told the officer that Terry Johnson was Hall's name.

The officer then searched Henry and Hall. At that point, Hall reportedly pushed the officer and tried to run away. An arrest affidavit also states that he threw several packaged rocks of crack cocaine onto the road. The officer saw this and found cocaine on Henry as well. After a brief investigation, the officer found out what Hall's real name was and both men were arrested.

Henry is charged with concealing Hall's identity and possession of cocaine. Hall was charged tampering with government records.
