Midland Habitat Gets Grant From Texas

MIDLAND -- A local non-profit is about to be able to help Midland families even more.
Texas has given Midland Habitat for Humanity $120,000. The money can now be used to help families living in Habitat homes lower their mortgage.
The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs announced they were giving the grant to Midland Habitat on Wednesday. These funds will help lower mortgage payments for 12 home buyers who have qualified for Habitat's program.
