WEST ODESSA -- Earlier this week, Big 2 reported that the West Odessa Volunteer Fire Department was in desperate need of donations after their engine went out on their main tanker.

Since that time, the department has received 7 donations. But in order to get a new truck, they still need a lot more. Otherwise, the department won't be able to help fight grass fires, which have been springing up left and right in West Texas recently.

If you'd like to help, you can drop off or mail your donations  to:

West Odessa Volunteer F.D.
PO Box 70107
Odessa, TX 79769
