MIDLAND COUNTY -- Drivers on Interstate 20 in Midland County saw some lane closures on Wednesday.

TXDOT was doing patch jobs on the interstate on Wednesday. Crews were re-surfacing 200 yard sections of the roadway where it was needed. This meant that lanes were closed on certain parts of the highway for short periods of time, as crews moved from the Ector-Midland line east.

The crews will continue resurfacing small portions of the roadway in both directions in Midland, Ector and Martin counties over the next four weeks. They'll try to get all work done during the day, and keep exits open whenever possible.
