Ector County, Former Administrator Setttle Lawsuit

ODESSA -- A lawsuit between the former Ector County Elections Administrator Robert Mendoza and Ector County has come to an end.
Both Mendoza and the county have agreed to a settlement after some recent mediation. The suit claimed that the county did not provide enough due process to Mendoza before he was fired. But there were also claims of racial discrimination in the suit.
As part of the cash settlement, neither party admits any wrongdoing. The settlement also indicates that Mendoza has now officially resigned from the county.
