William "The Refrigerator" Perry Gets Super Bowl Ring Back

Ailing Super Bowl 20 star William Perry has his Super Bowl ring back, thanks to a ten-year-old boy.

ESPN reports "the Refrigerator" received the coveted piece of jewelry from Cliff Forrest, a Pittsburgh boy who purchased the ring for nearly six-thousand dollars.

Forrest bought the ring from Mickey Mantle's restaurant in New York using money he saved for college.

Perry suffers from Guillain-Barre syndrome, an autoimmune disease, and the boy's mother Tracy suffers from multiple sclerosis.

Tracy Forrest said her son was adamant about giving the ring back to Perry.
