A big lead in the 9th inning just wasn't good enough for the Midland Rockhounds.  Instead the 'Hounds decided to play extras on Sunday afternoon at Citibank Ballpark.  But no matter the number of innings the score was in Midland's favor.

The Rockhounds held off the Springfield Cardinals 6-5 on Sunday evening to improve to 4-0 on the season.
